According to OpenAI’s official announcement on May 12, 2023 – “Web browsing and Plugins are now rolling out in beta.” ChatGPT Plus users will gradually gain access to Web Browsing and Plugins features during this week (May 14 to May 20, 2023). The Web Browsing feature will enable ChatGPT to access the internet.

Who currently has the ability to enable Web Browsing functionality?
According to the aforementioned official OpenAI article, the Web Browsing functionality is currently only available for ChatGPT Plus users.
How to enable it?
1.Firstly, we need to access the ChatGPT chat interface at https://chat.openai.com/. Then, click on the “Profile” icon in the bottom-left corner. After the menu pops up, click on “Settings.”

2.In the popup window, click on the left side where it says “Beta features,” and on the right side, toggle the switch to enable the “Web Browsing” feature.

3.Back in the ChatGPT chat interface, you will notice a dropdown menu prompt next to “GPT-4” on the right side. Click on it and, in the dropdown menu, check the option “Browsing Beta.”

4.Now, we can use the Web Browsing feature!
