In our daily lives, we often absorb new knowledge and information through websites. Sometimes, we come across valuable text information in images or videos on websites, such as quotes from celebrities, key points, or helpful tips. Traditionally, we tend to manually transcribe or copy this text to another document when the content is small, which is not too time-consuming. However, if the text content is lengthy, it can be quite time-consuming to complete the task.
Is there any tool that can automatically extract text from images or videos on websites for us?
Docsumo is a specialized Chrome extension designed for extracting text information from websites. Its working principle involves capturing screenshots and then utilizing its dedicated intelligent OCR technology to perform text recognition on the captured images. After text recognition, users can not only directly copy the extracted text content but also use Google Translate to convert the content into the desired language, making it extremely convenient.
How to install Docsumo
1.Simply go to the Chrome Web Store and click on the “Install” button to install the Docsumo extension.
2.Pin Docsumo to the toolbar by right-clicking on the extension icon and selecting “Pin to Toolbar.”
